First, my Day School program is a small pack - perfect for dogs who get overwhelmed or overstimulated in a traditional daycare setting. Because of its small size, I am able to offer individualized learning opportunities and support for your dog to socialize well with other dogs! Your dog will learn how to read other dogs' body language, approach dogs calmly, be approached calmly, play respectfully, relax in a group of dogs, practice impulse control, and more!

 

Second, because the dogs that attend school are attending every week, your dogs will form meaningful bonds and relationships with the dogs in their pack - aka make lasting friendships! Your dog won't need to adjust to a new pack every day/week they attend. They will get to know each other just as much as I will get to know them!

 

Lastly, we work on a variety of other really important skills other than socialization at school. Your dog needs help walking on leash? We practice that! Your dog isn't a fan of the vet? We practice body handling! Your dog is under-confident in new situations? We practice confidence-building exercises using Fit Paws! I am able to customize your dog's learning experience to work on what they need help with at school!
